Aïda was already a famous brand back in 1928. At that time, the harvest was done manually and with no mechanical means of transport.

The donkeys used to transport the oranges from the production area to
the place were a careful selection took place. The crop was put in wicker
baskets.

The oranges were carried from Spain to Belgium by train in four days, and finally by truck to the warehouse.

Nowadays, refrigerated trucks ensure the perfect quality of this delicate
product from production to consumer in only two days. This flexibility,
and the door to door transportation avoids any deterioration of the product.
